We work closely with the farmers to schedule harvests at optimal maturity. Pomelos are only picked when they reach full ripeness, with proper sugar content (measured in Brix levels), juice volume, and peel firmness. Harvesting is done manually using shears to avoid stem tearing or bruising, which could compromise the shelf life of the fruit during export.
2. Initial Sorting and Sanitation
After harvest, the fruits are immediately transported to our post-harvest facility to undergo cleaning and preliminary inspection. We use sanitized water systems to remove sap, dirt, insect residues, and natural waxes. A mild food-safe disinfectant may be used to reduce microbial load, especially for markets with strict food safety regulations like the EU, USA, and Japan.

During the pre-shipment stage, we conduct another round of quality inspection to verify color, firmness, aroma, and external condition. The container is cleaned, fumigated if necessary, and loaded using palletized cartons for easy unloading at destination.
